This bathroom renovation compiled of 3 bathrooms in the house breathed new life into a heritage home that hadn't been updated in nearly three decades.

The goal was a fresh, contemporary space that still respects the home's period character, and that balance shows. The original stained-glass window and classic panelled door have been retained and refreshed in a soft sage green, then set against clean, modern lines. A freestanding bath sits beneath the window as a quiet centrepiece, while a frameless walk-in shower keeps the room feeling open, light and easy to use.

The palette is where the design really comes together. A warm timber-veneer vanity grounds the space with natural texture, topped by a creamy stone benchtop and a sculptural round basin, while brushed brass tapware, towel rails and accents add a refined golden glow against the soft, large-format neutral tiling. Thoughtful details lift every corner, concealed LED lighting beneath the mirrored shaving cabinet, a subtly textured feature tile behind the bath, and a separate powder room finished with sage feature tiles and a round brass mirror. It's proof that timeless and modern aren't opposites; they can share the same space beautifully.
